The simplified image of human form shown below demonstrates correct anatomical positioning of all load bearing joints. As you can see, the shoulders, hips, knees and ankles are all symmetrical from left to right, and they stack directly on top of each other. Load bearing should be equal front to back and side to side. When the skeleton is properly aligned this way, the body is very effective at remaining balanced and moving efficiently without pain.

Your pain and symptoms exist because your body is out of alignment and balance. Your body can become out of alignment due to an old injury, accident, hours of sitting behind a desk, sofa or car, repetitive use of the same muscles from exercise or work.
